Every developer starts on the Free plan — no credit card required:
- 1 business per developer account
- 50 bookings per month across that business
- Full API access with rate-limited keys

How Limits Work
Bookings are per business. On the Starter plan, each of your 5 businesses gets 100 bookings/month. Your first business hitting 101 bookings does not affect your other four — they still have their full allowance.
Hard limits on businesses. You can't create more businesses than your plan allows. The API returns 402 with your plan limit and current count.
Hard limits on bookings. When a business hits its monthly cap, the API returns 402 Payment Required. Your app can catch this and show an upgrade prompt.
Upgrade anytime. New limits apply immediately. Prorated billing for the remainder of the month.
Dynamic Booking
Dynamic (instant) booking is a Scale-exclusive feature. It enables real-time resource availability without a time grid — guests pick any time, the API checks if something is free right now.
Use it for restaurants with live floor management, gyms with spot booking, co-working hot desks — any scenario where availability changes in real-time.

Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as a booking? Any booking created via the API or dashboard, regardless of status (confirmed, pending, cancelled).
What if I need more of one thing? Upgrade to the next tier. Need 6 businesses but only 200 bookings each? Growth is your plan.
Can I downgrade? Yes. Your new limits apply at the start of the next billing period.
What happens if my payment fails? You get a 7-day grace period. After that, your API returns 402 Payment Required until the invoice is paid. No data is lost.
Do you have annual pricing? Not yet. Contact us if you need annual billing.
Can I resell this? Yes. Build your app on AvailEngine and set your own pricing. We bill you — what you charge your clients is your business.
What's a business? A business is a tenant in AvailEngine. One restaurant, one salon, one gym. Each business has its own resources, bookings, settings, and API keys.
